The government and RCN just released a new CSC graphic confirming 24 VLS vice 32 originally planned and the addition of the new mast accommodating the SPY-7 radar. Sea Ceptor still listed with 6 cells, 24 missiles. A number of features are not identified in previous renderings although more than likely EW which is most likely being kept under wraps for now.
Webmaster's note: The original graphic can be downloaded in PDF format here, though the URL will likely remain the same even as the graphic itself is updated in the future: http://www.navy-marine.forces.gc.ca/assets/NAVY_Internet/docs/en/fleet/csc-fact-sheet-eng.pdf Note the October 2021 date on the right hand edge, coinciding with when the same updated model of the ship was uploaded onto Lockheed Martin's website and discussed here on Broadsides.

Hi Ted. By all standards, the latest CSC Frigate graphic, will be an awesome frigate for the RCN. My only question is: I see what I believe to be an X Band radar on top of the hanger (probably for FLYCO to use during FLYOPS) but I do not see any X or S Band radar antennas forward on top of the bridge. Can you explain?
Hi, one thing I also noticed is the new displacement of 8080 tonnes vs 7800 tonnes on the earlier fact sheet. If this is to be the real standard displacement, the math should work for the stated performances. The accommodations also changed from 204 to 208 to reflect the other Type 26 variant. For the navigation radar, it seems to be at least one just on top of the bridge.
Hi Mikael. Yes, the X/S Band radar could be there on the bridge top, it’s just that I can’t see it with this particular graphic. What would be nice is a top-down 360 degree graphic to verify everything as the Americans have done with their Constellation class. Cheers!
