Kickstarting the Submarine Replacement Program

Canadian submarines keep ticking along -- and they will have to for a few more years. The government has initiated a study to come up with a plan possibly, maybe, at some point, to replace Canada’s submarines. Deciding on, and then building, new submarines is a major endeavour, as the Australians can attest. The Department of National Defence says that it will take a minimum of 15 years to deliver a new submarine. It could take longer depending on a number of factors. Want to know more?
