The first Arctic & Offshore Patrol Ship, HMCS Harry Dewolf, is currently conducting cold weather and ice trials in Frobisher Bay off Nunavut. With much anticipation, photos are coming out showing the ship in "its natural habitat".
All photos taken by Cpl David Veldman, CF Combat Camera.
They’re doing great. Interestingly enough only one CCG person onboard, the CO for the new CCG AOPV. He’s there to gain experience and take notes for adjustments for the AOPV CG design.

Great photos showing what these AOPSs can do to protect our northern lands.
