The United States and China – DoD Annual Report to Congress
Observers regularly provide insight into specific elements of China's military capabilities, but the 2020 US Department of Defense Annual Report to Congress entitled "Military and Security Developments Involving the People’s Republic of China 2020” brings the sum of the parts into stark relief. Interesting, perhaps sobering reading, depending on how you interpret China’s intentions. If a threat is the sum of capability and intent, the capability is clearly present and growing.
