On February 5, 2021 Irving Shipbuilding announced the appointment of a new President, Kevin Mooney, and the retirement of Kevin McCoy.[1]
Mr. McCoy had enormous experience in modern warship construction and guided the shipyard through the Arctic Offshore and Patrol Ship program now underway, and helped to lay the foundation for Canadian Surface Combatant project. His expertise will be sorely missed at this critical moment of transition.
