Navies Adapt to Information Warfare

Military forces increasingly rely on networked information to function effectively. Now we talk about information warfare. This means taking both defensive actions to protect your information and the systems that collect and disseminate it, and offensive actions to disrupt and deny the information of your enemies. What are navies doing in this regard, and what is the RCN doing in particular?

There is an interesting article in Crowsnest that talks about this. See “Information as War: The RCN Comes to Grips with a New Battle Space,” by Darlene Blakeley, at http://navy-marine.forces.gc.ca/en/news-crowsnest/crowsnest-view-int.page?doc=information-as-war-the-rcn-comes-to-grips-with-a-new-battle-space/j46ylklz
